Karim Naguib

Mr. Naguib is a dynamic technology leader, accomplished entrepreneur, and executive with a wealth of experience spanning over 28 years. His career is distinguished by a proven track record in implementing complex technology solutions for large enterprises, where he has consistently demonstrated his expertise in building and managing data centers, network infrastructure deployment, project management/consulting, business operations, and enterprise-wide technology initiatives. As a strategic visionary, Mr. Naguib has adeptly navigated diverse situational challenges, establishing operational excellence within various environments and translating conceptual models into specific growth strategies.

As the President and CEO of Negma Business Solutions Inc., Mr. Naguib not only owned and managed the enterprise but was instrumental in its evolution. Under his stewardship, Negma, a Dallas-based Tier III Type 2-SOC 1-compliant data center, became a top-tier provider of Managed IT Technology services tailored for small and medium-sized businesses. His leadership was pivotal in steering the company’s innovative operations in information technology, infrastructure, sales, and customer service. Beyond ensuring compliance and high standards, Mr. Naguib was actively involved in customer acquisition, managing data requirements, and nurturing the business to a very positive exit.

He owned and managed the Dallas-based Negma Business Solutions Inc. as its President and CEO. Negma Business Solutions Inc. is a Tier III SSAE16-Type 2-SOC 1-compliant data center that provides Managed IT Technology services to small and medium-sized businesses. Earlier in his career, Mr. Naguib made significant contributions to Microsoft Corporation, where he served as a Sr. Global Technical Manager and Project Manager, partnering with premier accounts to enhance support plans and implement Microsoft solutions effectively. At Dell Inc., he excelled as a Services Account Executive for Preferred Corporate Accounts (PCA), where he was tasked with promoting and selling Dell Services across the multi-state region of assigned accounts in the PCA market.

Mr. Naguib also served as a Senior Consultant at Dell, Inc., a subject matter expert for Microsoft enterprise applications, focusing on Active Directory delivery. His specialization included architecting, designing, implementing, and migrating Microsoft Exchange Server 2003/2007 and supporting high availability Sequel and Exchange solutions on Dell and EMC Clariion and Symmetric.Net Application Infrastructure design. As an Engagement Manager at Dell, he oversaw consultant project delivery, prepared essential project documentation, conducted risk assessments, and collaborated with Product Management to align products with client needs, all while providing comprehensive technical solutions in enterprise settings.

Jamil brings over 25 years of investment banking, asset management and hands on operating experience. He started his career at Merrill Lynch International Bank in London where for 9 years he was part of the Merrill Lynch Investment Advisory Group (IAG) managing over $5 billion worth of investments in equity, fixed income and alternative assets, with a specific focus on private equity. He then independently managed and advised on a successful monetization of US$ 1.5 billion of US real estate asset in Florida, while establishing a new telecom venture.

Kulacom Broadband Investment Company was founded and Jamil operating out of Dubai, UAE attracted a leading telecom management and operating team and secured private funding from the MENA region as well as a JV partnership with one of the world’s leading broadband operators, SK Telecom out of Seoul, S. Korea. In 2009, both the Jordanian Telecom Authority and Korea’s Telecom Commission recognized Kulacom’s network in Amman Jordan as the world’s first fully independent end to end wireless broadband network. Together with SK Telecom, Kulacom established a full-fledged engineering office in Bahrain to support its regional expansion. Kulacom managed the roll out of networks in Amman, Istanbul and Athens.

After selling his position to the majority shareholders of Kulacom, Jamil established IMA Venture an investment management and advisory business, advising investment offices globally on alternative investing for both strategic and absolute return strategies.
